Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RecBaller, a division of Ball So Hard Enterprises ("RecBaller," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the RecBaller website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and profile information: your name, email address, user identifier, profile photo, authentication status, and account preferences. Passwords are processed by our authentication provider, and we do not receive your password in readable form.
  • League, team, and participation information: league and team membership, roles, rosters, schedules, RSVPs, attendance, payment status, join requests, scores, standings, waiver acknowledgments and signatures, and information you provide while administering or participating in a league or team.
  • Content and communications: team or league details, photos, messages included with requests, support inquiries, and other content you submit through the Services.
  • Device and usage information: device and app version information, push notification tokens and preferences, authentication and session information, and technical, security, diagnostic, and audit records generated when you use the Services.

The website may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect the Services, and provide requested functionality.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
  • provide league, team, roster, schedule, attendance, RSVP, waiver, and related features;
  • send service messages, password resets, email notices, and optional push notifications;
  • support users and respond to questions or requests;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Services;
  • prevent misuse, enforce applicable terms, and comply with legal obligations; and
  • protect the rights, safety, and property of RecBaller, our users, and others.

How we share information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Within the Services:information may be visible to league administrators, team managers, players, umpires, or other users when needed to provide the feature you are using. For example, a roster may display a player's name and profile photo to authorized participants.
  • Service providers: we use service providers such as Google Firebase for authentication, database, file storage, and related infrastructure, and Expo for mobile application and push notification services. These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments.
  • Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, investigate misuse, protect safety, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • Business changes: information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party targeted advertising.

Third-party links and payments

The Services may open maps, league websites, payment pages, or other third-party services. RecBaller does not directly collect payment card or bank account information when you use an external payment link. Information you provide to a third party is governed by that party's privacy policy and terms, not this Privacy Policy.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and why it is held.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may review or update certain profile information in your account, manage push notification preferences in the mobile application, and control notification permissions through your device settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.

Account deletion

You can request account deletion from the Account screen in the RecBaller mobile application or through the account controls on the RecBaller website. If you no longer have access to the Services, email bsh.enterprises.global@gmail.com with the subject "RecBaller account deletion request."

We will delete or de-identify information associated with the account unless retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate purposes. You may need to resolve active responsibilities, such as transferring or deleting a team you manage, before account deletion can be completed.

Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, please contact us so we can review and address the situation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
